God Has Commanded His People to Build Temples

Have you ever been to the temple? Have you learned about the temple? How many more years do you have until you are twelve? Are your parents married in the temple? You might want to think about these questions, especially the last one.
In Kirtland, Ohio, on December 27th, 1832, Mormons found out God commanded that a temple should be built. For the next three years, the Mormons only thought of building their first temple. Many people didn't have enough money to build the temple, but they had faith and said their prayers. And their prayers were answered.
A man from Bolton, New York, named John Tanner, had a dream that he was needed in Kirtland. John used some of his money to help build the temple. Finally, in the spring of 1836 the temple was finished.
You can help build the temple in a different way. By encouraging your parents to go to the temple, especially on nights where fewer people attend, the temple will stay open.
I know that everyone can help build the temple even if we are too young to go ourselves. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
